Double R Axis

Blake Revels, owner and operator of the Double R Ranch, harvested this 30″ axis buck on Friday, May 21st on his Texas ranch.

We actually spoke to Blake as he was preparing to go out for this evening hunt  he had mentioned that he had tried countless times to put the ka-bosh on a big axis buck with his bow with no such luck.  Well, persistence paid off for Blake on this outing as his determination and straight shooting were rewarded with a fine trophy axis that afternoon.

We like to think  we had some hand in bringing him some good luck!
