Record Oryx From Kerr County

A good friend of ours, Brian Hemphill, of San Angelo, Texas recently took this tremendous scimitar-horned oryx on the Kerr County Ranch near Kerrville, Texas.  It scores 94 SCI and stands to be the #4 or 5 (N. America – introduced) scimitar-horned oryx in the SCI record book with a rifle.  He was able to take this trophy oryx with the help of his custom AR-15 rifle.  Brian is a successful exotic game hunter and enthusiast, with axis deer, several blackbuck, and a sika deer to his name.  Congratulations, Brian, on a unique trophy!
