The Harkey Ranch is 2600 acres nestled in West Texas just southeast of Christoval, Texas. The ranch is a rare combination of natural beauty, exceptional facilities, and friendly folks where you will find one of the best collections of native and exotic game. The ranch includes a mixture of low rolling hills, live oaks, Texas prairie grasses and mesquites. With all of its natural beauty and the ultimate in lodging, the Harkey Ranch is something you won’t find anywhere else when looking to escape to the country.

EXOTICS

With over 40 species of exotic game located on the Harkey Ranch, we offer one of the best selections of exotic game within the United States. The ranch has multiple breeding herds of exotic game so there is a large selection when choosing your trophy. All breeding programs are focused around raising animals with heavy mass and symmetrical shape.

The exotic species available on the ranch range from your most common exotics such as Axis Deer, Fallow Deer, and Blackbuck Antelope to your more rare species such as Black Wildebeest, Hog Deer, Kudu, and Caucasian Tur. The Harkey Ranch welcomes both archery and rifle hunters. Please note that wounded game is considered a kill and trophy fees will apply accordingly. A state of the art processing facility is also available on the ranch that includes a large walk-in cooler, stainless steel sinks and tables, and electric winches. The entire facility has floor drains to ensure your hides and meat stay as clean as possible for further processing. We can provide a local taxidermist for your mounts or can ship to a taxidermist or your choice. Meat processing is also available.

WHITETAILS

The Harkey Ranch is the ideal ranch for your next Texas whitetail deer hunt. The Harkey Ranch provides a selection of high-fence deer from a management to trophy level ranging from 150-250+ B&C. The ranch invests in a year round feed program for maximum antler development. We strive to produce heavy horned, wide spread, trophy deer that any avid whitetail deer hunter will be proud of. The ranch also offers over 7,000 continuous acres of native Texas whitetail deer hunting under low fence. The Harkey Ranch welcomes both archery and rifle hunters. Please note that all wounded game is considered a kill and trophy fees will apply accordingly.
