About Koon’s Canyon Ranch

Koon’s Canyon Ranch was founded in the Spring of 2005 in Rocksprings, TX.  The ranch was named after our Grandfather Koon Johnston, who had a great love for hunting, the outdoors, and his two Grandsons.  Nearly 20 years after his passing his Grandsons and one of his Great Grandsons are keeping their Grandfathers love for the outdoors alive.  In 2005 Glynn and Jayne purchased their first ranch and that is when we started  “MAKING MEMORIES”!

Koon’s Canyon Ranch is a 640 acre ranch that is under high fence and an intense wildlife management program.  The ranch provides year round supplemental feeding for all wildlife.  The owners of Koon’s Canyon Ranch have a goal of producing and raising large trophy whitetails and exotics.
