Rhino Outdoor Adventures is a family owned outfitter & guide service specializing in quality hunting and fishing adventures at affordable prices. We cater to families, small hunting parties and corporate groups. With Rhino Outdoor Adventures you can hunt a variety of native & exotic game species on one of several ranches we offer in Texas.Whitetail, Mule Deer, Rio Grande Turkey, Javelina, Axis, Aoudad, Blackbuck, Elk, Fallow deer, Sika deer and a variety of Rams, along with other exotic game animals. Predators are also offered for hunting which includes Bobcat, Coyote, Fox, Mountain Lion and hundreds of Wild Hogs!

The Haecker Safari Ranch

The Haecker Safari Ranch is nestled in the Texas Hill Country. Tucked away in the Mountains of Real county between the headwaters of the Nueces and the Frio Rivers with free flowing natural springs and abundant creeks and wildlife. The elevations vary and some exceed 2,300 feet, where there are amazing views to behold.  This specific ranch has a unique ecosystem not even known to most “Texans”.  Mountain Laurels grow in abundance with a variety of oaks, fruit trees, cactus and cedars. It is one of the only areas in Texas to have an affluent amount of Native Pinon Pines.  These conifers are usually found in Colorado, New Mexico or Northern Arizona. There is an abundance of native and exotic animals living on this breath taking rugged terrain.

The many types of species range from Aoudad, Axis, Blackbuck, Elk, Fallow Deer, Sika Deer, Rams, Turkeys, and Whitetail Deer along with many other exotics. If your choice is predators, we have Raccoons, Porcupine, Fox, Bobcat, Mountain Lion, Javelina and Hundreds of Wild Hogs! The animals are supplied with our intense year round supplemental feed program and various food plots. Hunting primarily takes place from ground stands and tower blinds strategically placed across the ranch. We provide week long or weekend package hunts on the Haecker Safari Ranch.  This is our primary home away from home and one of the premier hunting destinations in Texas.

Our Historic and renovated “Rustic” Main Lodge can sleep 12 adults and additional children as needed and our New Fully Furnished Bunk House completed in 2009 can accommodate up to 14 hunters comfortably with an adjoining Game Cleaning Facility and Walk In Cooler. All food and beverages are provided for your hospitality as part of the hunt, we also have a professional chef on duty for our Corporate or large group hunting packages. Amenities include: satellite big screen television, indoor and outdoor fireplaces, wading pool, and game room with pool table, hot showers, and bar.

Rhino Outdoor Adventures offers some of the best “Native” game hunting opportunities anywhere in Texas! Texas Fishing Adventures

Rhino Outdoor Adventures offers some of the best fishing opportunities in the state.  Whether fishing fresh or salt water we can help you find your game fish! We fish year round and cater to individuals, families and young children with groups on request. We can provide all the tackle and gear to be successful, for every level of fisherman. We focus on the fundamentals and teach basic skills such as casting as well as more aggressive angling techniques for the advanced anglers. Most of our hunting & fishing adventures are set up as all inclusive packages that include food, lodging, guide services & preparation of game harvested or fish caught. We also plan annual hunting adventures to South Africa, Alaska, Canada, Mexico & other destinations across the United States. We also offer many Hunting Leases if you are looking for a do it yourself type of hunt.
